According to Paul Heyman on Twitter, former WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will not be granted a rematch against Seth Rollins.
Lesnar lost the Universal Title to Rollins last night at SummerSlam in a high-octane main event, ending his third and shortest run with the gold after just 28 days.
Heyman confirmed that WWE officials have told him there will be no rematch for his client, which he says neither of them are happy about:
My client #BrockLesnar and I have been apprised "no rematch will be granted" against WWE's Universal Heavyweight Champion #SethRollins!!! We find this decision to be arbitrary and patently unfair!

WWE stopped automatic rematches several months ago but the rule does change depending on the person and situation.
With Lesnar likely not back on WWE television for several months – likely around the time of the next Saudi Arabia show on October 31 or Survivor Series just after that – it appears this is a storyline to keep him away from television for a while.
There is no word yet on who Seth Rollins’ opponent will be at upcoming PPV Clash Of Champions but chances are we will find out tonight on Raw.
