WWE has announced that NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes will defend his championship in a Ladder match at NXT Stand & Deliver.
On tonight’s (March 1) episode of NXT 2.0, Hayes retained the title in the main event of the show against Pete Dunne, before cutting a promo, announcing that he’d defend the title in ‘the match where this title began’.
It was not announced who any of the challengers would be, or how many challengers there would be.
The original North American Championship Ladder match featured six men, and was won by Adam Cole.
