On tonight’s (October 4) edition of NXT, another WWE star qualified for the North American Championship ladder match at Halloween Havoc.
Set to occur at the upcoming NXT premium live event, Halloween Havoc, the ladder match has already been known to include Carmelo Hayes vs. Oro Mensah vs. Wes Lee.
Now, Von Wagner has also qualified to enter the match.
Wagner won after besting Andre Chase after an assist from Robert Stone who served as a distraction at a pivotal moment in the match.
Von Wagner was able to connect with a big boot and capture the pinfall victory.
There still remains one more qualifying match, the third in the series of matches between Nathan Frazer and Axiom will determine who moves on to the ladder match at the NXT premium live event.
Elsewhere on tonight’s show, a wild edition of the Grayson Waller Effect ended with a wild wheel of stipulations and a bizarre attack by a former main roster star.
Also, a tag team reunited backstage and another fairly recently formed tag team has earned a title shot after besting another top team when their originally scheduled match was changed despite being advertised shortly before the show.
