Are you looking forward to awesome storylines and character progression on NXT tonight? Well, you may need to adjust your expectations, because as of writing, there is nothing confirmed for the show after the latest Covid-19 outbreak.
Reports throughout the week have suggested that a number of people within the Performance Center have tested positive, and it could be that anyone who came into contact with them will also have to isolate for several days.
According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, all we know right now is that there will be a series of matches tonight, but not who will be in them.
“There was an outbreak. We don’t know who is going to be available for this show. All we know is that they will have a bunch of matches.”
While we don’t know who will be in the matches, that doesn’t necessarily mean we’re going to get a bad show. You never know, this could be the opportunity for the next breakout star to make a name for him or herself.
We’ll be covering the show live later tonight, so be sure to stay tuned for that.
