A big number one contender’s match has been announced for next week’s SmackDown. After losing to Bayley tonight, Carmella will take on Naomi for another shot at Bayley’s Women’s Championship.
Bayley managed to pull off the win when she rolled up Carmella and put her feet on the ropes for leverage. After their match, Naomi ran in and laid Bayley out with an enziguri.
Carmella and Naomi both did backstage interviews where they claimed they would be the next women’s champion. They will face each other for the title shot at Super Showdown. This will be only the second WWE women’s match to take place in Saudi Arabia, with the first being Natalya vs. Lacey Evans at Crown Jewel.
