WWE has announced a new number one contender’s match for tonight’s (October 11) episode of NXT.
On last week’s show, NXT Tag Team Champions Pretty Deadly retained their titles against Ridge Holland and Butch of the Brawling Brutes after interference from Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.
After the match, Pretty Deadly were confronted by three other tag teams; Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid of the Dyad, Edris Enofe & Malik Blade and Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen.
Following the three-way confrontation, WWE has announced that the Dyad, Edris & Malik and Briggs & Jensen will face off in a three-way tag team number one contender’s match on tonight’s show.
WWE crowned the next challengers for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship on last week’s show, when Nikkita Lyons and Zoey Stark defeated Toxic Attraction.
The announced line-up for tonight’s show is as followed:
- NXT Champion Bron Breakker vs. Javier Bernal
