Billy Corgan has revealed the date and location of the next NWA PPV, close to a tragic incident that took place in July 2022.
Appearing on Busted Open Radio, the NWA President revealed that the next PPV will be called NWA 312.
The show will take place in Highland Park, Illinois with its name coming from the historic area code for Chicago.
He also revealed that the show would be a block away from the mass shooting during an Independence Day parade on July 4 2022.
After the shooting, Robert Eugene Crimo III was arrested and charged with 21 counts of first-degree murder, 48 counts of attempted murder and 48 counts of attempted battery.
Corgan hopes that the show will reclaim the space and city of Highland Park, saying he wanted to:
“Bring happy times, good vibes back in.”
The PPV is set to take place on April 7 and will see the inaugural NWA Women’s Television Champion crowned.
Elsewhere on the show, Tyrus defends his NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship against Chris Adone.
Kamille will defend her NWA World Women’s Championship against La Rosa Negra.
Cyon’s NWA National Championship will also be on the line in a match against EC3.
There will also be a television taping on April 8.
Former NWA star Nick Aldis recently commented on his future after leaving the company at the end of 2022.
