NWA Bringing Back Women’s Tag Team Championship

Wrestling legend Mickie James and the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) have announced the return of its Women’s Tag Team Championship.

James announced that the new champions will be crowned at EmPowerrr on August 28.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote:

Tickets for @nwa #Empowerrr #nwa73 & 2 days of #Powerrr taping live from the Historic @chaseparkplaza in STL go on sale TODAY 5pm central @ticketmaster !!! I promise they’re not gonna last. Also HUGE decision and Announcement from Billy & myself. We are bringing back the NWA Women’s Tag Team Championships. The winner will be Crowned at EMPowerrr. I’m scouring for the top teams and I know we ALL can’t wait to see the championships brought back to their former glory. Thank you everyone for tuning in.

Also announced for EmPowerrr is the NWA Women’s Invitational Tournament, with Tittie Lynn being the first confirmed participant.
