Former TNA/Impact World Champion and current NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis is set to make his Ring of Honor debut during the promotion’s “Honor United” U.K. tour on May 24. The English-born wrestler, best known for working under the ring name Magnus, will team up with a mystery partner to face The Young Bucks in Edinburgh.
If back-room @billy & @CodyRhodes want me to sign on the line for #ALLIN #TenPoundsOfGold several things need to happen. They involve money & respect. But let's start with this: I want a match with The Young Bucks at #HonorUnited Edinburgh. @ringofhonor can pick my partner.

Aldis, who left TNA/Impact in July 2017 after his second stint with the company, has held the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship since December 2017 after beating then-champion Tim Storm at CZW‘s Cage of Death 19 show. Recently, it was announced that Aldis will defend his title against Cody Rhodes at September 1’s live Bullet Club show All In.

With Rhodes’ pedigree and Aldis’ exceptional work ethic (especially with his stellar title defenses across multiple promotions recently), there’s no doubt that a Rhodes/Aldis title match has the potential to steal any show, especially one as highly anticipated as All In.
Bringing the NWA into the ROH/NJPW/Bullet Club fold was a very smart move both for the short and the long-term success of the promotion: exposing over 10,000 fans to the re-invigorated NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship will pay homage to its history while evolving it for its use in the future. That process will seemingly begin in England next week.
