The National Wrestling Alliance has announced the competitors that will compete to become the inaugural NWA National Champion. The inaugural champion will be crowned at the NWA 70th Anniversary show on October 21st in Nashville, Tennessee.
The NWA has announced that Colt Cabana, Scorpio Sky, Willie Mack, Sammy Guevara, Jay Bradley, Sam Shaw, Mike Parrow and Ricky Starks will be the eight participants in their National Championship tournament.
The eight men will compete in two separate fatal four-way matches with the winners facing each other in a singles match to determine the first title holder.

The title will become the third championship currently active within the National Wrestling Alliance, alongside the Worlds Heavyweight Championship (held by Cody, who won it at All In) and the World Women’s Championship (held by Jazz, who won it at NWA Texoma in 2016).
The event at the Nashville Fairgrounds will feature matches for both the Worlds Heavyweight Championship and the World Women’s Championship. Cody will defend the against former champion Nick Aldis in a Best of Three Falls match and Jazz will defend the Women’s title against an as yet unknown opponent.
