Major Title Change At NWA Hard Times 3

A new NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion was crowned during the November 12 NWA Hard Times 3 pay-per-view.

During the main event of the show, Trevor Murdoch defended his gold against Tyrus (fka WWE’s Brodus Clay) and Matt Cardona in a threeway bout.

Tyrus was ultimately victorious, winning his first major wrestling world title in the closing moments of the show.

The former WWE star notably forfeited the NWA TV Championship to be inserted into the title bout at Hard Times 3.

Several other new champions were crowned during the event, with Jordan Clearwater defeating AJ Cazana to claim the vacant TV Title, and Kerry Morton besting Homicide to win the Jr Heavyweight Championship.
