On tonight’s episode of NXT 2.0 (August 2) there were several developments in the NXT 2.0 Championship feuds heading towards NXT 2.0 Heatwave!
In a contract signing segment, JD McDonaugh “continued his mind games” so said WWE or perhaps more accurately, made it awkward for everyone, as he elected to sign the contract in his own blood to Bron Breakker’s shock and horror.
What did you think about their contract signing segment? Let us know by following WrestleTalk on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram!
Elsewhere on the road to Heatwave, Mandy Rose and Zoey Stark’s feud continued to heat up.
After Zoey Stark interfered in in a post-match beatdown angle, preventing Mandy Rose from inflicting any additional wounds on a vulnerable Sarray, Rose sought an unlikely ally.
Approaching Cora Jade during a backstage segment, Mandy Rose suggested that next week, Cora Jade take out Zoey Stark to benefit them both. Later on Twitter the match was made official.
WWE NXT 2.0 Heatwave will take place on August 16, 2022.
I heard loud and clear…..remember eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth….knee for a knee!
