New NXT UK Tag Team Champions were crowned on today’s episode of the brand.
As previously mentioned, one half of the NXT UK Tag Team Champions Ashton Smith suffered an injury that forced Smith and Oliver Carter to vacate the titles after winning them on the June 2 episode.
In a four-way elimination match on the June 23 edition, NXT 2.0 stars Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen defeated Die Familie, Mark Andrews & Wild Boar and Dave Mastiff & Jack Starz to win the vacated gold.
