Two NXT 2.0 stars have won championship gold during the latest NXT UK tapings at BT Sports Studios.
WWE announced during the taping that one half of the NXT UK Tag Team Champions Ashton Smith had suffered an injury. This meant that Smith and Oliver Carter were forced to vacate the NXT UK Tag Team Titles.
In a four-way elimination match, NXT 2.0 stars Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen defeated Dave Mastiff & Jack Starz, Mark Andrews & Wild Boar and Die Familie to win the vacant titles.
This marks the first time that Briggs and Jensen have won gold in WWE.
