NXT 2.0 viewership figures were announced and as expected, total viewership took a significant hit in the face of transitioning to a different network due to the Winter Olympics coverage.
While NXT’s usual network home, USA was tied up with Winter Olympics coverage from Beijing, fans seems to struggle making the jump to SyFy with only 400,000 total viewers and a dismal 97,000 viewers falling into that key 18-49 years old demographic.
The February 8 episode of NXT faring far worse than the other two times NXT was pre-empted on USA and airing on SyFy instead over this past summer with both of those shows reaching 520,000 viewers.
This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw was also transitioned from the USA network to instead air on SyFy and reached a record low rating as well.
WWE NXT last night on Syfy:
400,000 viewers
P18-49: 0.07 (97,000)Lower than either of NXT's 2 preemptions to Syfy over the summer (both 520k).
