NXT 2.0 Women’s Championship Match & Big Heel Turn

NXT 2.0 Women’s Championship Match & Big Heel Turn WWE

Tonight’s edition of NXT 2.0 (July 12) saw concern for the main event all night after Roxanne Perez was attacked.

After a recap package of everything that occurred at Great American Bash, including Roxanne Perez challenging Mandy Rose for the NXT 2.0 Women’s Championship, we then cut to the WWE intro bumper, straight into screaming.

Roxanne Perez had been attacked in the parking lot!

With a question all night of whether or not Perez would be able to compete, there was also question regarding who did the attacking.

After taking out all of Toxic Attraction, Roxanne Perez was primed to win the gold however she was attacked from behind by Cora Jade who hit her with one of their NXT 2.0 Women’s Tag Team Championship belts!

After the match, Cora Jade was yelling at Roxanne in the ring, called her selfish and beat her with a skateboard (that unfortunately appeared to be gimmicked and essentially collapsed when she first attempted to swing it at her.)

She continued the attack as the show went off air, yelling at Perez, “I made you!”
