One of the biggest recent signings in WWE has been MSK of NXT. Wes Lee and Nash Carter arrived in NXT earlier this year after having spent time in IMPACT. Now, the team has said the move was a hard decision to make.
Speaking with Stephanie Chase of Digital Spy, Nash Carter said the move was “a no-brainer”. Here is the quote:
“When this opportunity came, it was a no-brainer. I’ve always wanted to be a WWE Superstar.”
Wes Lee agreed and expanded upon his partner’s point. Here is the quote:
“With the progression of our careers, this was the next stage and it was just right there in front of us and we just had to take the opportunity. It’s bred some amazing, amazing things since we made that choice. The pandemic definitely gave us time to re-evaluate a lot of things and we did a lot of talking, a whole lot of talking on what it is that we wanted to do and how we wanted to do it and this just worked out perfectly.”
MSK won the NXT Tag Team Championship at NXT Takeover Stand & Deliver. They are currently in a feud with Legado del Fantasma who defeated MSK in a six-man tag match two weeks ago.
