During tonight’s episode of WWE NXT on the USA Network, the return of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team classic tournament was announced.
The newest edition of the tournament will be kicking off in two weeks’ time on January 14.
The Grizzled Young Veterans is the only team to have been announce for the tournament so far, but here are a bunch that could join them:
- Breezango
- Some combination of Undisputed ERA
- Imperium
- Drake Maverick & Killian Dain
- Ever-Rise
- Legado Del Fantasma
The NXT Tag Team Champions – currently Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan – don’t tend to be involved in the tournament as the prize for the winner is usually a title match.
