NXT Beats AEW Dynamite In November 25 Viewership

Due to American Thanksgiving, the viewership for last week’s NXT and AEW Dynamite were delayed. However, now the numbers have been released and NXT ever so slightly got the edge.

Bryan Alvarez posted the numbers on Twitter today, revealing NXT garnered 712,000 average viewers while Dynamite drew 710,000 average viewers. Here is the tweet:

These numbers mean AEW Dynamite was way down from the previous week. The November 18 show had done 850,000 average viewers, 140,000 more than this episode. The show was still a good one but it lacked notable matches going into the show. Its main event was PAC and Rey Fenix vs. The Butcher and The Blade.

AEW continues to build to this week’s Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley AEW World Championship match. It is being pushed as the biggest match in the history of the show.

Meanwhile, NXT had a notable main event announced. While the participants were not revealed until during the show, the main event was a ladder match for the WarGames advantage. It ended up being Pete Dunne vs. Kyle O’Reilly in the best match on either show.

The NXT viewership saw a major increase from the November 18 show as well. 638,000 average fans watched the November 18 episode, meaning the show gained 74,000 viewers for this show. This week’s episode of NXT will be the go-home show for NXT TakeOver WarGames.
