On the NXT show following Survivor Series, Tom Phillips replaced Mauro Ranallo as the lead commentator for that week’s broadcast.
Mauro missed the show due to a tweet from Corey Graves during NXT TakeOver: WarGames where Graves criticised Ranallo for not allowing his partners Beth Phoenix and Nigel McGuinness to speak.
It has been reported that Ranallo and McGuinness will also miss next week’s episode of NXT. The show will be broadcast on Christmas Day.
Many of the matches that will be shown on next week’s show were taped immediately following Friday Night SmackDown earlier this week.
