The WWE NXT conference call is making a return ahead of this Saturday’s Halloween Havoc.
Wrestling has seen major promotions interacting with media in unique ways that previously weren’t seen in the business.
AEW has been doing media scrums following their pay-per-views, while WWE even tried their hand at a post show press conference following the Clash At The Castle premium live event.
One staple of this kind of interaction used to be the NXT conference call, hosted by Triple H ahead of the TakeOver events. This is now returning under a new host.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp tweeted today that the WWE NXT conference calls are back. The next one will take place this Friday, October 21 at 11:30 AM EST and will be hosted by WWE’s senior vice president of talent development creative, Shawn Michaels.
The brand hasn’t held a conference call since 2020, so it will be interesting what questions are asked to Michaels ahead of this Saturday’s Halloween Havoc.
The event will be headlined by Bron Breakker defending the NXT Championship in a triple threat match against JD McDonagh and Ilja Dragunov.
