Former NXT Champions Make WWE Main Roster TV Debut WWE

Former NXT Tag Team Champions the Creed Brothers are the latest NXT talents to make their WWE main roster TV debuts on Main Event.

Brutus and Julius Creed have actually appeared on a main roster show before, which was the October 29, 2021 edition of SmackDown where they were part of a 24/7 Title chase since they were at the show for a dark match.

However, their match against Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows that was taped for Main Event before last night’s February 6, 2023 episode of Raw will go down as their first main roster TV match.

In the other Main Event match, it was NXT’s Indi Hartwell who took on Main Event regular Dana Brooke.

Hartwell’s match isn’t a main roster debut, as she had a match on an episode of Raw when it was at the Performance Center in 2020 during the pandemic – and she was of course in the 2023 women’s Royal Rumble match just over a week ago.

Don’t read too much into the Creeds and Hartwell being used on Main Event as it’s something that the majority of NXT stars have done over the past few months, just so WWE management can get a feel of how they look on a main roster stage.

Having said that, if you were to make a list predicting which NXT stars could get called up soon, Hartwell would probably be at the top a lot of people’s lists.

WWE Main Event airs on Hulu every Thursday and episodes are added to the WWE Network on a several-week delay.
