Tonight was the heavily talked about premiere episode of ‘NXT 2.0’, and we now know what to expect heading into next week’s show (September 21).
On tonight’s premiere episode, the Creed Brothers picked up another impressive victory, before Malcolm Bivens introduced the newest member of the Diamond Mine as ‘Ivy Nile’.
Kushida then interrupted the promo and said that he’s ready for Roderick Strong. Bivens then challenged Kushida to put his NXT Cruiserweight Championship on the line against Roderick Strong next week, which he accepted.
The match was previously set to take place on NXT TV last month, but was postponed due to Kushida testing positive for COVID-19.
