With many of WWE’s Wrestlers delayed in Saudi Arabia, WWE turned to NXT to fill out the show. However, Smackdown got more than it bargained for tonight with NXT dominating the show and the interactions.
Here’s a list of each of the NXT Interactions on the show:
- Shayna Baszler attacked Bayley after her match with Nikki Cross. Baszler left the ring standing tall with all 3 Smackdown stars [Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Nikki Cross] laid out in or around the ring.

- Keith Lee and Matt Riddle attack Sami Zayn. Sami Zayn was talking trash about NXT. Riddle and Lee left him lying in the middle of the ring.

- Tommaso Ciampa defeated the Mix in one on one action.

- Bianca BelAir single-handedly took out Carmella and Dana Brooke backstage, at least Dana got some screen time.

- Adam Cole picks up a clean win over Daniel Bryan and retains the NXT Championship in a fantastic match.

- Not on to hog the spotlight, Triple H then declared war on Raw and Smackdown in the final segment.

So, Smackdown went 0-for again when facing another brand in a show related to Smackdown. I wonder what FOX thinks about the USA C-Show completely dominating a show it paid billions for.
Of course, Triple H appears to have been in charge of the show tonight. We shouldn’t have expected any different. Triple H always books himself to go over.
