NXT has seen a big increase in viewership for its first Tuesday night show, the first time it hasn’t been up against AEW Dynamite for a year-and-a-half.
The show averaged 137,000 more viewers than last week, as Showbuzz Daily reports that WWE NXT drew 805,000 viewers, with a .22 in the 18-49 demographic.
Last week’s show drew 668,000 viewers over the two hours, so it’s clear that the post-TakeOver bump and a lack of competition is already doing good things for NXT’s viewership.
AEW Dynamite is tonight, so we’ll have to see whether Dynamite receives the same kind of bump now that the Wednesday Night Wars are over.
