It’s being reported that a current gimmick in WWE NXT is “over huge” with management, specifically Triple H and Shawn Michaels.
As per Fightful Select, the ongoing Tian Sha saga involving Xia Li and Boa has made a good impression on the higher-ups.
It was also said that Triple H and Shawn Michaels have been very hands-on with the character and presentation.
The report also noted that the Mei Ying role is currently being portrayed by Karen Q.
Karen Q hasn’t wrestled since she broke her leg during a house show match in July 2019.
Xia Li has really been the main star of the act so far as she’s racked up a 5-0 record this year. Boa, who has also been involved, hasn’t wrestled since the start of the storyline.
