Carmelo Hayes has shared a bold prediction for his WWE future, believing that he and Bron Breakker will eventually main event WrestleMania.
Hayes and Breakker will face off in the final match of Saturday’s (April 1) NXT Stand & Deliver special.
This NXT Championship bout is notably the youngest main event in WrestleMania weekend history, with Hayes currently 28 years old, and Breakker only 25.
Speaking with Under The Ring, Hayes noted that he believes this rivalry will one day be WWE’s top feud heading into a WrestleMania season.
Commenting on his and Breakker’s futures, Hayes said:
“What they can expect is to see two guys who really, in the next five years, are going to be the future of WWE.
“This is a match in its infancy, a rivalry in its infancy that will headline a WrestleMania one day.
“The limits are just limitless between our feud as far as what we can do.”
Hayes recently pitched a match against Seth Rollins, with the top NXT star wanting to face the Raw name at WrestleMania 40.
