NXT Match Cancelled Due To Illness

A match scheduled for the latest episode of NXT was cancelled, with one competitor reportedly suffering from an illness.

Last night, Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe were meant to face off in singles action. This showdown between former SAnitY members ultimately never took place.

It was mentioned during the episode that Wolfe was not cleared to compete, due to illness. A WWE Network exclusive video showed Wolfe leaving the doctor’s office, revealing he was suffering from a “stomach bug”.

While the stomach bug could be part of a story, Ringside News, which often has reports confirmed by the likes of Dave Meltzer and Fightful, has noted that Wolfe was sick with the flu.

On last night’s episode of NXT, Bobby Fish made his return the Gold Brand. Fish made his comeback during a segment with Kyle O’Reilly. O’Reilly has recently discussed his new gimmick, defending the “Kool Kyle” persona.
