High praise for one NXT star from a WWE Senior Vice President as they tout the college recruitment program, Next in Line.
One WWE executive, James Kimball who is the current Senior Vice President and Head of Talent Operations & Strategy took to Twitter to share high praise for one NXT star.
Coming out of the Next in Line program, one such athlete, NXT star Tank Ledger has made “unprecedented” progress.
In his past life as a college athlete, Joe Spivak was a defensive lineman for Northwestern University however now as an NXT star, he’s turning out to be quite the professional wrestler.
Taking to Twitter, exec Kimball wrote:
“The progression of @TankLedgerWWE (fka Joe Spivak) in the ~4 mos he’s been at the PC in Orlando has almost no precedent in our developmental program. The accelerated timeline from first bump to TV ready is a core value add of Next In Line. Thx to @SmittySBJ for profiling.”
Kimball’s tweet came in response to an article from Sports Business Journal profiling Ledger, which you can read in full at this link.
Tank Ledger has already participated in three televised matches on NXT Level Up.
Tank Ledger is currently 1-2-0 in televised matches in NXT; you can catch up with all the win/loss records for the men’s NXT roster by clicking here.
