New Match Set For NXT No Mercy 2023

New Match Set For NXT No Mercy 2023 WWE

Just days away from NXT No Mercy 2023 on September 30, another new match appears to have been added to the card.

Following Blair Davenport’s brutal locker room attack on Gigi Dolin on this week’s (September 26) edition of NXT, Kelani Jordan has issued a formal challenge to Davenport at the upcoming Premium Live Event in Bakersfield, California.

Speaking in a WWE exclusive backstage interview following the show, Jordan was asked about her participation in this year’s NXT Breakout Tournament.

While the rising star did state the importance of winning, she explained that her focus has very much been on other things:

“I’m a week away from the start of the most important tournament of my life. But for some reason, I feel like my whole world has turned upside down.

“I’m upset. I’m angry. But I’m gonna use that anger to fuel me.

“Hey Blair, I saw what you did to Gigi tonight. She may not be cleared, but I am. So how about I use my anger against you this Saturday in Bakersfield?”

Elsewhere on NXT last night, a new challenger was determined for Dominik Mysterio’s North American Championship at No Mercy, with a four-way match being held.

Mustafa Ali was previously announced to be challenging Dom on September 30, however plans were changed following the 37-year-old’s WWE release on September 21.

Another main roster star has earned a title shot for NXT No Mercy, which you can read more about at this link here.
