Last Wednesday on NXT on the USA Network, Ridge Holland suffered what appeared to be a nasty leg injury. Not quite as nasty looking as Dak Prescott’s, but still tough to watch.
Holland underwent successful surgery to repair his ankle and knee. On the weekly NXT Injury Report, NXT provided an update on Holland.
Holland is currently still in the hospital and is doing in-patient rehabilitation. However, he will be going home within the next week and will continue to rehab while at home.
Have to feel for Ridge Holland here, this looks so nasty.
His leg folds underneath him as he attempts to base for Oney Lorcan. He's set for a long spell out injured just as he was primed for a big angle.
Best wishes to him on the recovery! pic.twitter.com/6GsqhJQ8yL

NXT also provided an update on Finn Balor. Basically, it said the same thing we already knew. He’s recovering from jaw surgery and the length of his recovery process will determine if he has to vacate the title.
NXT also said Damian Priest is having back spasms. The back injury was believed to be caused by the chair shots from Johnny Gargano and the rough match he had with Dexter Lumis.
Also listed on the injury report was Drake Maverick. He is said to have a sprained neck.
The NXT Injury report is a mix of both legitimate injury and kayfabe injuries. We’ll continue to keep you updated on Holland and Balor right here on WrestleTalk.
