NXT Slightly Closes The Gap With AEW Ratings

The NXT and AEW Dynamite ratings have been revealed for the week of January 22, 2020. All Elite Wrestling won the night once again, but the gap grew ever closer.

NXT garnered 769,000 viewers, up from last week’s 700,000. Meanwhile, Dynamite had 871,000 viewers, down from 940,000 last week. The two shows are separated by 102,000 viewers this week.

Dynamite was at the slight disadvantage with their show being on a one-day tape delay. The show took place on the Jericho cruise and the featured a stacked card. Kenny Omega and Hangman Page captured the Tag Team Championships and Jon Moxley became the number one contender to Chris Jericho’s World Championship.

NXT also produced a loaded show. The Grizzled Young Veterans and the Bro-serweights both advanced to the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Classic and Keith Lee winning the North American Championship.
