WWE has revealed that NXT will host a ‘Stand & Deliver’ special will take place ahead of WrestleMania 38 in April.
The Dallas Morning News was first to announce that the NXT special, as well as a Hall of Fame ceremony, which will also air ahead of the April 2 -3 Show of Shows. Exact dates for the shows will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Confirming the news, WWE wrote:
“As first reported by the Dallas Morning News, Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown, an unprecedented Superstore Axxess, WWE Hall of Fame induction and NXT Stand & Deliver will all take place in the Dallas area in the lead up to the Grandest Stage of Them all! The Showcase of the Immortals is set for April 2 & 3 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas with details for the other week’s events to be released at a later date.”
Ahead of WrestleMania 37 last year, NXT hosted two nights of ‘TakeOver: Stand & Deliver’, on April 7-8. The event took place before the brand’s reboot, so was Black & Gold themed.
