A WWE NXT star appears to have had his name changed once again after only getting a new one a couple of months ago to begin with.
Brendan Vink, who had a few matches on Raw earlier this year, seems to be back to being Brendan Vink after a brief change to Tony Modra.
Vink, who’s Australian, adopted the Modra name and WWE had applied to trademark it in October. This came after the company had applied to trademark Brendan Vink in June.
However, the Australian football player whose actual real name is Tony Modra had voiced his displeasure that his name was being used by Vink without him having been told about it.
It’s unknown whether that’s the reason Vink has reverted back, but it would definitely make sense for that to be the case.
He released a ‘Dark Side of the Ring’ parody video on Twitter called ‘Dark Side of the Smug’, which featured several fellow NXT talents referring to him as Brendan Vink. You can check it out here:
