A new gimmick will debut on next week’s episode of NXT 2.0, with Axiom being announced for the show during last night’s episode.
While it hasn’t been 100% confirmed, it is generally accepted that Axiom is the new gimmick of former NXT UK star A-Kid who until now has wrestled without a mask, but the new debut will see him don a black and gold mask, because why not.

If you aren’t familiar with A-Kid, he is a 25-year-old Spanish wrestler who debuted for NXT UK in 2019. Since then, he has won the first ever UK Heritage Cup, and appears to be slated for big things in WWE if he carries on with his current trajectory.
Because it’s WWE, I will speculate that he’s been given a mask because he’s Spanish, and people who speak Spanish wear masks if you’re Vince McMahon.
