Diamond Mine faction member Hideki Suzuki has been given a new ring name after making his debut with the group on last week’s NXT.
The faction was back on TV this week as Roderick Strong beat Asher Hale, with the other members at ringside for the match.
Commentary consistently referred to Suzuki as ‘Hachiman’, which WWE filed to trademark earlier this month.
Hachiman is the only Diamond Mine member we hadn’t already seen on NXT TV prior to the faction debuting last week.
The group consists of Strong, Hachiman, Tyler Rust, and Malcolm Bivens as a manager, and was also set to include some recently released names before they were let go.
