Just a few hours before AEW Dynamite aired last night, former WWE star and producer Brian Kendrick was pulled from a match with Jon Moxley after several offensive comments he made in the past resurfaced.
AEW President Tony Khan publicly announced Kendrick had been pulled from the show, describing his comments as “abhorrent” on Twitter.
We’ve been made aware of abhorrent & offensive comments made in the past by Brian Kendrick. There’s no room in AEW for the views expressed by Brian. We think it’s best for all that Brian be pulled from tonight’s card as we gather more info. We’ll announce a replacement bout ASAP.

Shortly after the news of Kendrick being pulled from AEW Dynamite broke, current NXT 2.0 star Harland tweeted a video of him throwing Brian Kendrick down a set of stairs, seemingly mocking the former WWE producer.

Kendrick has since apologised for the comments he made, and has claimed the things he said were not his true beliefs and that he will regret his behaviour for the rest of his life.
