While the rivalry between NXT and AEW has been a positive thing for wrestling. However, that has not stopped some people from taking shots at the other side. Dominik Dijakovic did just that on Friday.
Seemingly in an effort to joking mock AEW Owner Tony Khan, Dijakovic posted a tweet identical to one of Khan’s.
Thank you great AEW fans for watching #AEWDynamite tonight! I enjoyed producing this week’s show, I thought it was a great show. I think next week’s show has a chance to be very special, I think it will be the best episode of wrestling tv anyone’s done in months to say the least.

“Thank you great NXT fans for watching WWE NXT this week! I enjoyed talking on this week’s show, I thought it was a great show. I think next week’s show has a chance to be very special, I think it will be the best episode of wrestling tv anyone’s done in months to say the least.”
Khan posted his tweet a week ago after AEW Dynamite. The upcoming show he was referring to ended up being pretty good but likely not the best one done in months. The Cody vs. Darby Allin and Lance Archer vs. Dustin Rhodes matches were the highlights.
Meanwhile, we will have to wait and see if next week’s NXT can stake that claim as the best recent wrestling show. With Adam Cole defending the NXT Championship against Velveteen Dream and Charlotte defending the NXT Women’s Championship against Io Shirai, it has all the tools to pull it off.
