NXT Star Expected For Post-WrestleMania Call Up

NXT star Cameron Grimes has been in limbo between NXT and the WWE main roster since his loss to Joe Gacy back on the November 8 episode of NXT.

Grimes was back in action at last week’s SmackDown show, defeating Hit Row’s Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis in a Dark match prior to the show.

It has since been reported that Grimes is finished with the NXT brand, and is expected to make his way to the WWE main roster when creative has been put in place for him.

In an update from PWInsider, Grimes has been at several Raw tapings in recent weeks, with the rumblings from within the company being that he is expected to make his way up to the WWE main roster after WrestleMania.

NXT star Zoey Stark recently discussed a potential main roster call up after working main roster live events this past week, and why she’s worried about a call up.
