Following a match on a recent NXT live event, an up and coming NXT star has laid out a challenge of a rematch to a more established name.
25-year-old Lola Vice, who has mostly featured on NXT Level-Up thus far in her WWE career took on the Diamond Mine’s Ivy Nile in a losing effort at a live event in Sanford, Florida on June 10.
Despite taking the loss to the more established Nile, Vice hailed her opponent while also calling for the pair to “run it back” once again in the future, saying:
what a match. @ivynile_wwe you’re a great competitor, but we are running this back.
This then forced a response from Nile tweeting:
I’m down
Given Nile and fellow Diamond Mine members The Creed Brothers are involved in a feud with Schism, the rematch between Nile and Vice may not take place on NXT TV however, we will have to wait and see.
This Friday’s Smackdown saw an announcement that is set to have massive implications for much of the female NXT roster.
Following a confrontation in the ring, a unification match was set for the June 23 Smackdown where WWE Tag Team Champions Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler will take on NXT Women’s Tag Champions Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn.
