Former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa believes that he is the best wrestler in the world.
Speaking with Sportskeeda, Ciampa said that he doesn’t think anyone is better than him and because of this, MSK is screwed at NXT Great American Bash. He said:
“I don’t think anyone’s better than me. I genuinely don’t think anyone in the world is better than me. I don’t think they’re better than me on the mic, I don’t think they’re better than me in the ring. I think I’m the best alive. So for MSK, it’s just kind of like ah damn, if you’re in there with the best alive, you’re kinda screwed and that’s pretty much how I feel, no offense.”
Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher are scheduled to challenge MSK this week on NXT. Ciampa and Thatcher defeated the Grizzled Young Veterans to earn their title shot. This will be the duo’s first shot at the NXT Tag Team Championship.
