One of the original memes of the internet was Walker, Texas Ranger star, Chuck Norris. Back in the day, jokes circulated the internet with outlandish facts about the famous cowboy. Now, Damian Priest is claiming his father once won a fight against Norris.
In an interview with Digital Spy, Priest revealed that this exhibition fight took place in the 70s. Under martial arts rules, Priest’s father apparently landed more strikes and would have won the fight on points. Here is the quote:
“(The story) was something that I heard from, not just him, but from other martial artists that were around in that era, in the 70s, and it was before Chuck Norris was even a name. They had an exhibition fight that wasn’t meant to have a winner, but they all said that if there was one by points, or whatever, my father landed way more strikes and kind of outperformed (Norris) so he would have won the fight in that sense.”
Norris has a brief history in WWE as well. At Survivor Series in 1994, Norris served as the outside-the-ring referee for the Casket match between Yokozuna and The Undertaker.
