NXT star Lio Rush will debut on 205 Live next week.
Rush has been featured in vignettes for the last two weeks and he will now be making his main roster debut on the June 26th episode of 205 Live. Rush has been a heel in his vignettes so far, as he has expressed his frustrations with being left out of the Cruiserweight Classic and the Cruiserweight Championship tournament.
The 23-year-old Lio Rush made his pro wrestling debut in November of 2014. He is best known for his work in Ring of Honor and CZW; where, Lio was a former CZW World Heavyweight Champion. Rush was signed by WWE in August of 2017 before reporting to NXT. While in NXT, Rush created controversy when he made a comment about Emma following her release from WWE.
Now, Rush will join a stacked 205 Live roster where he will look to make the impact he never made in NXT.
Next week’s 205 Live will also feature a six-man tag team elimination match between The Lucha House Party: Kalisto, Lince Dorado, and Gran Metalik, and the team of Drew Gulak, The Brian Kendrick, and Jack Gallagher.
