There are many NXT stars that have a bright future on WWE’s main roster, but few more than NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes.
Hayes captured the championship from Bron Breakker at the NXT Stand & Deliver event over WrestleMania 39 weekend in Los Angeles.
However, he has sights set on a top WWE star for a potential dream match.
Carmelo held a Q&A on WWE’s Snapchat, where he was asked about who his dream WrestleMania opponent would be.
Hayes named Seth Rollins, believing that the two of them would have good chemistry together, as well as believing that he and Seth are parallels.
Hayes’ first NXT Championship defence is set to be against Grayson Waller on the upcoming NXT Spring Breakin’ show.
Seth Rollins has not appeared on WWE television since his bizarre segment on the Raw after WrestleMania, two days after defeating Logan Paul at WrestleMania 39.
