Two popular NXT stars appeared on WWE Main Event on October 20, facing off with main roster stars to mixed results.
The event was filmed at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma prior to the October 17 edition of WWE Raw.
Cameron Grimes faced Akira Tozawa, defeated the 16-time 24/7 Champion and former Cruiserweight Champion.
Duke Hudson was not quite as lucky, losing to former Hurt Business member Cedric Alexander.
Grimes recently fought in a six-man tag team match with OC members Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, against Joe Gacy and the Dyad.
To recruit Gallows and Anderson onto his side, Grimes made a trip over to Raw, where he was featured in a backstage segment with AJ Styles and the OC.
Duke Hudson was last featured on the October 4 edition of NXT, where he was defeated by Julius Creed.
