205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick announced on Friday that several members of the NXT roster that come under the cruiserweight weight limit will be joining 205 Live full-time.
With NXT moving to the USA Network, the 205 Live brand now falls under the NXT banner, with the WWE Cruiserweight Championship being renamed the NXT Cruiserweight Championship.
We have already seen a lot of sharing of talent between the brands, with the likes of Oney Lorcan, Isaiah Scott and Angel Garza featuring on both shows recently.
Speaking of Garza, it seems as though he’ll be the first man making the switch:

This comes after the 205 Live roster was left a bit depleted following the WWE Draft. Akira Tozawa, Humberto Carrillo, Drew Gulak, Kalisto, Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik were all drafted to either Raw or SmackDown from the purple brand.
Here are all the current members of the NXT roster that are billed under 205 pounds that aren’t already listed as 205 roster members (per WWE.com), so could mathematically jump over to 205 Live:
- Bobby Fish
- Danny Burch
- Isaiah Scott
- Joaquin Wilde
- Johnny Gargano
- Jordan Myles
- Kushida
- Kyle O’Reilly
- Lio Rush (NXT Cruiserweight Champion)
- Mansoor
- Pete Dunne
- Raul Mendoza
- Roderick Strong
- Tommaso Ciampa
Obviously we can rule a few of those out, but it just gives us an idea. There is of course also the possibility of NXT wrestlers over that limit making the move. Garza, for example, was billed at 207 pounds.
