Since Triple H took over as the head of WWE creative in July, various wrestlers have found themselves returning to the gimmicks they had previously used in the company.
Names such as LA Knight, Nikki Cross and Dijak have dropped their previous names and characters to return to their older NXT characters, or building something new in Dijak’s case.
At tonight’s NXT Stand & Deliver event, Chase U and Tyler Bate defended the school when they defeated the Schism in an eight-person mixed tag team match.
Following the loss, Jagger Reid took to Twitter to reflect on the defeat, ending off with a rather clear message.
He said:
Dark match. Pre show. Main show. Different names. It doesn’t matter. We’ll always deliver. We’ll always be 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗹𝗲𝗱.
Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler were previously known as the Grizzled Young Veterans under the names James Drake and Zack Gibson prior to them joining the Schism last year.
