WWE has announced a gauntlet match for the vacant NXT Tag Team Championship, which will take place on Tuesday’s edition of NXT 2.0
Five teams will do battle for the titles on this week’s show. The teams confirmed for the match are:
- Grayson Waller & Sanga
- Legado del Fantasma
- The Creed Brothers
- Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen
- Pretty Deadly
Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley of Pretty Deadly debuted on the US NXT brand last week, as Kit Wilson and Elton Prince. You can read a list of every WWE name change of 2022 right here.
The title was vacated following Nash Carter’s WWE departure. Carter was released from his contract after abuse allegations were made public by his wife Kimber Lee, along with Lee posting an image what appeared to be Carter performing a Nazi salute having shaved his facial hair to resemble Adolf Hitler.
