Ricochet vs Velveteen Dream

Imagine telling someone last year that this match would be happening. They’d have given you a Bayley to Belly and you’d still be out cold.

This match sees one of the world’s greatest performers take on one of the world’s future great in-ring performers, and it should be incredible.

Velveteen Dream has an uncanny way of making fans care about every feud he’s in, and that skill is amplified when you’ve got someone like Ricochet on the other side of the ring.

Expect high flying, amazing story telling and just a fantastic spectacle.

It is hard to pick a winner, but I think I’m going to have to go with Ricochet. Velveteen wouldn’t be hurt by the loss, simply because he’s so good at what he does, and I think as his first main singles feud on NXT, it would be a strange booking decision to have Ricochet lose.

Either way, this will be wonderful.
