Triple H and Shawn Michaels made a major NXT TakeOver announcement during tonight’s episode of the show on the USA Network.
They said that today marks the 25th anniversary of the first ever In Your House event, and it’s quite appropriate because everyone is having stay in their houses right now.
Adding to that, they declared that on Sunday, June 7, NXT will hold a TakeOver: In Your House show.
This’ll be the first TakeOver since Portland on February 16, as Tampa was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic having originally been set for April 4.
No matches have been announced for the show yet of course, and excluding tonight there’s only three episodes of TV left before it comes around.
The location hasn’t been announced either, but it’s obviously likely that it’ll be at the Performance Center, although Full Sail could be an option to make it feel more special.
